Sara understands first-hand the unique challenges that families in poverty face daily. Coming from a family of poverty with no education in financial and occupational health and needing more assistance with their mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual guidance, she has made it her mission in life to teach others how to become self-sufficient and not self-reliant.
In 2010, she graduated with a LeGrand Diplômé from Le Cordon Bleu, recognized worldwide by culinary professionals; it is the international passport to a rewarding and fulfilling career that same year, Sara founded Chef Chandler Personal Chef.
In 2019, Sara became the Executive Director of The Grace Period, a 501C3 nonprofit in St. Charles County. Their mission is to move adults and families who can't yet afford stable housing into self-sufficiency by utilizing transitional housing, high accountability, and goal-setting led by a family-like, faith-based team of staff and volunteers.
She is also the Operations Manager at 80-Twenty Studios.
Sara says, "We are a family who helps you and walks alongside and helps you grow without judgment; we are here to support you when no one else would or could."
