Founder & Executive Director
David German is the Founder and Executive Director of Romans 1210, Inc., a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. He was a teacher and coach for 36 years, teaching in school districts in Kansas and then in the greater St. Louis and surrounding areas. He taught at Ritenour High School for fifteen years, teaching mathematics and coaching football and basketball. He was the founding Athletic Director at Barat Academy.
While at University City High School (UCHS), David started an innovative, advanced, hands-on entrepreneurship program. This includes opening the Uniquely U Store in UCHS, which was run by his Entrepreneurship 2 students.
David was a founding board member for The Grace Period and was a board member for Freedom Arts & Education Center, both 501(c)(3) that served their communities before beginning Romans 1210.
David holds a Master of Science in Physical Education and Coaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Secondary Education from Pittsburg State University. He has a Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) certification. He is passionate about creating community, building relationships, and developing others. David lives in the central-eastern part of Missouri and enjoys golf, exercising, movies, reading, and spending time with his family. He has six children and six grandchildren, most of whom are in the St. Louis area.
David says, “So many of my interests and values overlap with the mission of Romans 1210. Building relationships and working with parents who are in need of support, care, and connections during a difficult season of their life is a divine calling with a long-lasting impact.”
